Prepare to suffer for me, in my name. In my kingdom, every suffering has meaning. Trials and problems provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your confidence in me. Bearing circumstances with courage, even thanking myself for them, is one of the highest forms of praise. It is a sacrifice of gratitude that rings like bells of joy in the heavenly places. Also on earth, the patience you show in suffering sends a positive message in wider circles. When the test hits you, remember that I am sovereign and that I can make any event contribute to your good.

Don’t try to run away from pain or problems. Accept adversity on my behalf, offer it to me to accomplish my goals. It thus takes on meaning and brings you closer to me. Joy emerges from the ashes of adversity, thanks to your trust and gratitude.

Glory and praise to you Lord! See: James 1:2-4; Psalm 107:21-22.
