My Lord and God, I open my eyes and realize that I’m alive, before continuing today, I give my life to you, so that You can drive it. I trust You and I know You have everything under control. Help us to recognise the immense love you have for us, You, Lord, gave your life for our salvation and have taught us a path to go, that only who gives will be able to receive, that life without sacrifice has no value and that wisdom without your science is incomplete.

You are strength that invites to move forward and offer shoulder and face for a begging humanity and in need of your love. Open my eyes to admire your beauty, open my lips to proclaim your praise. Help me to bear witness of You. I want to be faithful to You in thought, I want to walk in Your paths of justice and peace, and recognise in Your commandment of love that You want to help me.

I thank you, Lord, for your path, which though it is not easy to follow, it is safe because your hand holds me. Thank you for your presence that gives meaning to my whole life. I will never forget what you have done for me, you gave your life for my salvation, you forgave all my trespasses so I could walk safely and without hesitation. For You my life is precious, fill me with grace and tenderness so I can give love to others.

Thank you, Lord, for your path, which though it’s not easy to follow, it’s safe because your hand holds me. Amen!
